Department of Transport, Abu Dhabi, is pleased to launch its latest Fare Structure –Ojra, the easy way to travel inside
the city. With Ojra Bus Pass you can enjoy unlimited, cost -effective and flexible travel on all 9 routes linking the city of
Abu Dhabi. Ojra Bus Pass is designed to suit your daily hassle-free travel needs.

What are the types of Fares?
Ojra Cards are available in 4 card schemes designed to suit your daily travel needs.
a. Ojra Day Pass
b. Ojra Monthly Pass
c. Ojra Senior Citizen Pass
d. Ojra Pass for Special Needs/Disabled individuals

What is a single trip fare?
Passengers wishing to travel one single trip only may place AED 1.00 in the fare box next to the driver upon
entering the bus.

What is Ojra Day Pass?
For those who will be taking more than one trip during the day, the Day Pass is the ideal choice, allowing them unlimited travel on the DoT buses for the day on which the ticket is purchased. The Day Pass costs AED 3.00 and is valid till midnight on that same day.

Where is the Ojra Day Pass available?
You can purchase the Ojra Day Pass from Ojra Kiosks installed at bus stops at Marina Mall, Al Bateen Mall, Abu Dhabi Co-op A;l Mina, Abu Dhabi Mall, Al Wahda Mall and other select outlets.

How can we validate the Ojra Day Pass?
Just scratch the month and date of travel on the card.

What is the Ojra Monthly Pass?
For commuters who will be talking many trips the most convenient and economic pass is the monthly pass, which allows passengers unlimited travel on any of the DoT Buses. The Ojra Monthly Pass is valid for 30 days (1 Month) from the date of purchase.

Where is the Ojra Monthly Pass available?
The Ojra Monthly Pass is available at the nominal charge of AED 40.00 at designated Ojra Kiosks installed at bus stops at Marina Mall, Al Bateen Mall, Abu Dhabi Co-op A;l Mina, Abu Dhabi Mall, Al Wahda Mall and other select outlets.

How can we validate the Ojra Monthly Pass?
To validate the Ojra Monthly Pass, just scratch the date on which the card is first used at the back of the card.

What is an Ojra Senior Citizen Pass?
DoT cares for and respects senior citizens from all communities living in Abu Dhabi. To express its respect, the DoT offers the complimentary Senior Pass to all senior citizens above the age of 60. The Senior Citizen Pass entitles senior citizens to free, unlimited, life-time travel on all DoT Buses.

Where is the Ojra Senior Citizen Pass available?
Citizens wishing to apply for the senior citizen pass may obtain the registration forms available online at www.ojra.ae.

What are the documents required to apply for the Ojra Senior Citizen Pass?
Applicants must attach with the application the following: -
• Copy of their passports
• A passport size photo.

From where can we collect the Ojra Senior Citizen Pass?
Applicants for the Senior Citizen Pass can collect the passes from the Central Bus Station in Abu Dhabi.

What is a Special Needs/Disabled Pass?
DoT continuously plays a leading, proactive role in its support for individuals with special needs/disability. DoT offers those special individuals with the complimentary Special Needs/Disabled Pass which entitles them to unlimited, free travel on any of the Abu Dhabi Buses.
